Active Asphalt was proudly engaged by Limonta Sports to manage the profiling and asphalt scope for a major sporting surface project in Prospect, SA. In collaboration with SA Profiling, approximately 3,300 tonnes of material were removed to create a clean and level base. Once the site was cleared, we applied Eco Prime, a high-performance binding agent, which was left to cure for 12 hours, allowing for superior adhesion and surface readiness.
High-Tolerance Asphalt Paving
Following the curing process, our crew laid around 400 tonnes of asphalt, carefully compacted and levelled to meet a strict ±3mm tolerance. This precision ensured a seamless, durable surface tailored for the high standards required by Limonta Sports. The result is a perfectly paved base layer, ready for the next stage of premium sports surface installation.
